Prepatory Information Sessions are designed to provide participants with information about the day as well as essential details, guidance, and resources to help them prepare for Black Folks Day on the Hill (BFDOH).


Each in person info and training sessions will include:

  • Overview of the Day: What to expect during the trip, including the schedule and key objectives.

  • Advocacy Training: Tips on engaging with legislators, sharing personal stories, and discussing key policy issues.

  • Logistics: Important information about transportation, meals, and the overall itinerary.

  • Q&A: An opportunity to ask questions and address any concerns before the event. These sessions are designed to ensure that participants feel confident, informed, and fully prepared for a meaningful and impactful experience. Please review the options below and select a date and time that works best for you.

  • Only ONE information session is required.
